Christmas Ornament Mimic
I sculpted this life sized model of a Mimic disguising itself as a Christmas Ornament for Dragon's Lair Comics & Fantasy Houston's “Iron Painter X-Mas” painting competition in December 2025. This was the 10th Iron Painter competition Dragon's Lair has hosted and the timing worked out perfectly to turn Iron Painter X into Iron Painter X-Mas. In this competition the painters showed up to the store not knowing what they would be painting and then had only 8 hours to finish painting this life sized Mimic model!
