I sculpted this life sized Beer Can Mimic model for Dragon's Lair Comics & Fantasy Houston's “Iron Painter III - April Fools Edition” painting competition. In this competition 30+ painters showed up to Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy not knowing what they were going to paint and had just 8 hours to finish painting this life sized Mimic model! During the painting competition we also played a little prank on the painters and first unveiled an INCREDIBLY tiny dino instead of this model because the competition occurred on April Fools Day.
